Zumba Gold Fitness classes provide a fun dance-fitness workout with low-impact, moderate-intensity and easy-to-follow moves to zesty Latin rhythms and other world music.
You will feel welcomed into our community as Olga acknowledges you by name in each class! Adults of all ages, shapes and fitness levels are welcome, including active older adults and those starting their fitness journey. Zumba Gold Fitness is a specialised Zumba class format that offers modifications to help lessen the impact on knees, hips and ankles. These Zumba Gold Fitness classes are for ADULTS OF ALL AGES. Teenagers are welcome to participate in the class alongside their parent/guardian, however, this class is not suitable for children 12 and under. Find out why here. |

352 Upper Esplanade, Manly QLD 4179 Toilet facilities and water bubblers are available in this park. There is both onsite and street parking available along Lower Esplanade and Upper Esplanade. Meet under the trees behind the waterfront rotunda (near the corner of Stewart Parade and Upper Esplanade). Look for the Brisbane City Council Active & Healthy sign (as per photo above). |

Manly Class History
- ZUMBA GOLD FITNESS:
- The Zumba Gold Fitness Manly class was originally funded by FSG and had been running for several years on Wednesday mornings when Olga took over as instructor from 27 September 2017.
- FSG unfortunately went into voluntary administration in June 2018.
- The class was taken over by Brisbane City Council as part of the Council's Active and Healthy Program from 25 July 2018.
- The class got shifted from Wednesday mornings to Thursday mornings from 31 January 2019.
- ZUMBA GOLD TONING:
- Zumba Gold Toning classes were offered at Manly from October 2020 until December 2022. Classes were discontinued due to ongoing low numbers.
- As of October 2023, Zumba Gold Fitness classes included 2-4 TONING tracks using light hand weights in the class format.
