Zumba Gold Fitness classes provide a fun and simple dance-fitness workout with low-impact, moderate-intensity and easy-to-follow moves to zesty Latin rhythms and music from around the world. You will feel welcomed into our community as Olga acknowledges you by name in each class!

FREE ACTIVE & HEALTHY CLASSES:

This activity has been funded by Brisbane City Council as part of Council's Active & Healthy Program.
Classes are not held on public holidays and school holidays.
These Zumba Gold Fitness classes are for ADULTS OF ALL AGES. Teenagers are welcome to participate in the class alongside their parent/guardian, however, this class is not suitable for children 12 and under. Find out more here.

Bulimba Class Location

VENUE:

BULIMBA COMMUNITY CENTRE
1 Barramul Street, Bulimba QLD 4171
(corner of Stuart St; refer street map below)
This is an air-conditioned venue. Please bring adequate water as you can only refill your water bottle the bathroom taps (our class does not have access to the kitchen).

PARKING:

There are only 5 car parking spots onsite.
Plenty of street parking is available along Stuart St (away from Oxford St) as well as along Barramul St and Love St.

HOW TO FIND THE CLASS:

Meeting Point: Inside the hall
Look for the Brisbane City Council sign (as per photo) and an instructor with a Brisbane City Council Active & Healthy shirt. I may - or may not - be posing next to the sign like this!

Bulimba Class History

The Bulimba class was launched as a trial under Brisbane City Council's Active and Healthy Program from July to December 2022.
As funds were rediverted for 2022 flood recovery efforts, Brisbane City Council could not fund the Zumba Gold Bulimba class temporarily between January 2023 and June 2023.
Since July 2023, the class is once again being funded by the Brisbane City Council's Active & Healthy Program.
