Dance Styles - Bolero (Street Latin)

Welcome to Bolero, a beautiful Brazilian dance style that is heavily influenced by Tango. It is a slow, smooth and sophisticated style which is one of Olga's favourites! There are various versions of Bolero; at BoogieCamp, we teach the Street Latin/Brazilian version. 

Learn some basic steps in Bolero and at the bottom of this page is a list of songs you can dance Bolero to.

The video below introduces the beginner steps listed below. The phrases in brackets are what the dance steps are referred to in the video. As Street Latin Bolero is a Brazilian dance style, all the dance steps are in Brazilian Portuguese.
