- Basic New Yorker / Crossover Breaks
- Underarm Turn of Follower from New Yorker / Crossover Break
- Free Spin of Follower Only from New Yorker / Crossover Break (we didn't cover this in our lesson)
- Flick Turn of Leader & Follower from New Yorker / Crossover Break

Three Cha-Chas to Side with Spot/Flick Turn
The video below shows a beginner's routine as outlined below.
The Three Cha-Chas starts after the Flick Turn at the end of the New Yorker combination (ie from 0:38 to 0:49 in the video):

- Basic Step
- ½ Basic with Ladies Underarm Turn
- New Yorker (or Crossover Breaks) x 3 with Spot/Flick Turn
- Three Cha-Chas with Spot/Flick Turn (both sides)
- Parallel Breaks (Shoulder to Shoulder) x 3 – Lady backwards, Leader forwards
- Box Step/Walks with Underarm Turn
- Swizzle (or Pretzel) with Underarm Turn
