 The Zumba Gold Fitness classes held at Sunnybank Community Centre on Wednesdays 5:30pm are quite popular and are getting fully booked every week. What other Active & Healthy options are there....?
Why aren't the Zumba Gold Fitness classes included in the Brisbane City Council's GOLD Brochure?15/1/2025 As of 29 May 2023, we only have TWO more weeks of Council-funded Zumba Gold Fitness classes for this financial year.
Final Active & Healthy classes will be held from Tuesday 6 June to Saturday 10 June. PLUS that week is also my 50th birthday!! So, it's going to be a HUGE week! We'll be having CATCH-UPS for each class (see below) as well as saying FAREWELL to a number of classes *sad face*. As per my previous email (read here), I will not be continuing classes at Acacia Ridge, Bellbowrie, Inala and Richlands. However, I have been advised by Brisbane City Council that the Richlands class is being taken over by another Zumba Gold instructor, Jessie, who some of you already know and love. UPDATE FROM OLGA: There are some CHANGES to my Active and Healthy class schedule for the NEXT financial year (July 2023 to June 2024).
As many of you know, I have sustained knee (and shoulder) injuries. The number of Zumba Gold classes I'm currently doing is putting too much load on my body. After speaking with my coach and my physio, I have chosen to cut back on my Active and Healthy classes for the 2023/2024 financial year. |
