HOT DAYS!

So, apparently tomorrow (Saturday 31 August) is forecasted to be 36 degrees Celsius. 36 degrees! We're technically still in Winter! WINTER!!!

Please be mindful of the heat - drink plenty of water, wear cool clothing, wear a hat and sunglasses for outdoor classes and don't overexert yourself.

CAN KIDS COME TO ACTIVE & HEALTHY CLASSES?

I've recently been receiving a LOT of queries about whether kids can come to my Zumba Gold Fitness classes that are funded by Brisbane City Council under Council's Active & Healthy Program.

All of my classes are for ADULTS OF ALL AGES. Teenagers are welcome to participate in the class alongside their parent/guardian, however, this class is not suitable for children 12 and under.

In the current chapter of the Adventures of Olga...

My global domination of getting Zumba Gold Chair classes in aged care centres is continuing - I am now in 16 aged care centres and several have booked their sessions in until December NEXT YEAR (yes, 2025!)! Wahoo!
I had another personal styling session with Styling Station Qld. I LOVE what this organisation does. You get 1 hour with a personal stylist. You get to take 3 garments home. The garments are being diverted from landfill, so we're reducing fashion waste. Plus part of the cost of each session pays it forward to women in need in the community, who receive their own styling session and outfit to take home too. WIN WIN WIN WIN! During the last school holidays, I went to Snow4Kids (at Westfield North Lakes) with my brother, niece and nephew. That was a hoot - making snowmen, throwing snowballs, hugging the big polar bear. And I think the kids had fun too! Haha.
I've been enjoying going to the movies after my Zumba Gold Bulimba class at Cineplex Balmoral. They've recently upgraded their cinema seats and I'm noticing how much more popular the cinema is now!
